In 1998, Srikanth — armed with years of hands-on R&D experience in the food ingredient industry — took a bold step. He founded GC Ingredients with a single mission: to bring purposefully-made, scientifically advanced ingredient solutions to food manufacturers.

Launched custom blend manufacturing capabilities and moved into a dedicated 20,000 sq ft production facility, enabling larger-scale operations and greater customer service capacity.

Under his leadership, GCI has grown from a small startup to a 120,000 sq ft ingredient innovation powerhouse — developing over 2,500 formulations and partnering with hundreds of food manufacturers. Srikanth's hands-on approach to food science and customer partnership remains the cornerstone of GCI's culture.
